Join the Wissahickon High School Indoor Color Guard!

Becoming a member of the Wissahickon High School Indoor Color Guard is an amazing opportunity, and we're so excited you're interested! Unlike the fall marching band, our indoor group is a little different—it's a select, competitive ensemble that requires an audition. This helps us find performers with the skills and dedication needed to create a fantastic show together. We're looking for passionate individuals who are ready to take their skills to the next level with a fun and dedicated team.

Our auditions are a chance for you to show us what you can do! We'll be looking at three main areas:

Equipment Skills: Show us your expertise with a flag or rifle! We want to see you confidently execute foundational maneuvers like spins, tosses, and flourishes.

Dance and Body Movement: This is your chance to shine! We’re looking for performers who can move gracefully and expressively, adding a layer of artistry to the music and our show.

Choreography: We'll teach you a short routine that combines both dance and equipment work. This is a great way for us to see how quickly you can learn and perform new choreography with precision and flair.
