2026 Season: Member Onboarding

Welcome to the 2026 Wissahickon Marching Unit! Participation in our ensemble requires that all members and their parents/guardians review our policies and complete the required digital paperwork before the start of the season.

Step 1: Download & Review the Handbook

The Member Handbook contains essential information regarding our rehearsal schedule, the mandatory attendance policy for Band Camp, uniform maintenance, and student conduct.

Step 2: Sign the Digital Commitment Form

After reviewing the handbook, both the student and a parent/guardian must submit the digital signature form. This form serves as your official contract for the 2026 season. Deadline: August 1st.

ABSENCE REQUEST FORM (click to open link)

• Each member is required to attend all rehearsals and performances. 
• In the event of an extenuating circumstance please fill this form out at least TWO WEEKS in advance of your planned absence. This form is for regular weekday rehearsals and/or performances only. 
• KEEP IN MIND: This form does NOT apply to our two week summer Band Camp. Band Camp attendance is mandatory. 
• Absences must be submitted at least two weeks in advance to be considered excused 
• Exceptions must be approved by the Director. 
• And remember "*A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on ours; plan ahead."
