Q: What is your role with the marching unit/color guard?
A: I've been on staff with the marching unit/color guard since 2013.
Q: What is your area of expertise within color guard?
A: I have experience in flag, rifle, and saber, with my primary focus on integrating dance and movement with the equipment.
Q: How does your background in dance inform your approach?
A: My Bachelor's in Dance from Muhlenberg College deeply influences my teaching. It allows me to emphasize expression, fluidity, and storytelling through movement when working with the equipment and students.
Q: What is your connection to the program as an alumna?
A: I was a member of the marching unit back in my high school days, and it's a joy to be back at my alma mater helping to keep this vibrant program going.
Q: What are some memorable moments or achievements during your time with WMU staff?
A: Witnessing the students' incredible growth each season and seeing their hard work culminate in powerful, expressive performances are always the most rewarding achievements for me.
Q: What is your professional role outside of the marching unit?
A: I am a Project Lead for Production at Almac, where I manage complex clinical trial packaging projects.
Q: How do your professional skills translate to your work with the marching unit?
A: The project management skills I use at Almac—like organization, planning, and problem-solving—are incredibly valuable. They directly help in coordinating our unit's diverse activities and logistics, from rehearsals to performances.
Q: What keeps you busy in your personal life?
A: I have a toddler at home who I absolutely expect to be a future member of the group, in quite a few years of course!

A: I hold a Bachelor's in Dance from Muhlenberg College.

A: A quote I sort of live by, and have on my whiteboard at home, is: "They don't care what you know, until they know that you care."
